Shout Connect delivers the Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership’s (CLEP) government funded Cumbria Accelerator service, as part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The Cumbria Accelerator has been extended to focus on Westmorland and Furness.

The objective of the programme is to deliver locally funded business support in Westmorland and Furness, focussed on exploring self-employment and developing business plans to bring them to fruition.

The business support provided by the programme is based on key themes that include innovation, investment, skills, Net Zero and international trade. It is designed to help businesses identify opportunities to expand, grow and improve productivity and profits.

Under the CLEP business support programme, entrepreneurs receive practical advice and support for starting a business, after which they can be signposted to additional guidance in areas such as access to finance.
