This joint event with ICAEW Lancashire and South Lakeland society and Lancashire School of Business and Enterprise will demystify the Making Tax Digital procedures required by your business or clients, to be compliant by April 2019 or April 2020.

Making Tax Digital (MTD) is the cornerstone of HMRC’s policy to become one of the most digitally advanced tax authorities in the world.

The event will cover what businesses need to do to comply with the changes being introduced in 2019 and 2020 and provide some context in terms of what HMRC want MTD to deliver in the longer term and how the legislation might evolve.

It will also highlight some of the practical considerations, in the form of a case study, as well as provide some thoughts on how businesses might want to approach the MTD implementation in the context of their broader compliance procedures.
