Our September Joint Meeting took place at the venue of our new Burnley networking group, Burnley Football Club on Friday morning.

Our Joint Meetings are not restricted to a single sector rule and are open to all businesses and you don’t need to be a member of Shout to come along.

With around 120 attendees, it was a great turn out yet again full of networking, new faces and lots of interaction between our exhibitors and our guests.

Our very own Richard Singleton presented all things Shout and all the things we’ve been up to over the past few months; Go Karting, The BIBA’s and our August Social followed by a presentation from Lancashire County Council.

Lancashire County Council gave us more insight and a very informative presentation on Connecting East Lancashire promoting and enabling active and sustainable travel. You can find out all about ways in which to do this via their website.

We were also able to congratulate our members, Alert Fire and Security, on their recent charity event all in aid of Burnley FC Community. With an aim of raising £500, a group of 20 fundraisers partook in a pace up to Pendle which they completed managing to raise a total of £700 – way over their original target!

We had another excellent meeting and despite it being first thing on a Friday morning, our members didn’t fail to provide plenty of wine in their prize draws!

We now look forward to our next event, the Merseyside Business Expo. The Merseyside Business Expo will take place on Friday 19th October from 9am until 3pm at the Exhibition Centre on the Kings Dock in Liverpool. To register for your free delegate pass, you can do so at shoutexpo.com.
