Professionals from a Preston-based accountancy firm are to help business owners stay on top of their finances in 2019 with a free bookkeeping workshop.
Members of the team at Rotherham Taylor Limited are offering business owners from Preston and across Lancashire the opportunity get to grips with the basics of business bookkeeping.
The session, which runs from 4.15pm to 5.30pm on Thursday 21 February 2019 at the firm’s offices at 21 Navigation Business Village will help entrepreneurs make the process as stress-free as possible.
Professionals from Rotherham Taylor Limited will be on hand to show business owners how to record, store and retrieve financial transactions so that they can monitor the financial health of their businesses.
The workshop will also help entrepreneurs understand how to prepare for Making Tax Digital, which will see VAT-registered businesses with turnovers of £85,000 or more required to maintain digital records and make quarterly digital submissions from April this year.
Rebecca Bradshaw, a Director at Rotherham Taylor Limited, said: “Bookkeeping can seem daunting, but it is a vital process in running a sustainable and profitable business.
“With a few pointers, business owners can get on top of their finances and gain the confidence they need to grow their businesses for the future.
“That is why we are delighted to be able to offer this free workshop to help business owners and particularly those starting out in business for the first time.
“Getting on top of bookkeeping could be a great New Year’s resolution for any business owner.”
