Businesses in North Yorkshire will soon benefit from the launch of the North West’s largest independent business network.

The SHOUT! Network has just announced details of its Skipton business network launch event, which takes place at the stunning Coniston Hotel Country Estate and Spa.

The launch meeting of SHOUT! Skipton business network, takes place on Tuesday 19th February at 8:00am and will attract businesses from a wide range of sectors and sizes, ready to create new opportunities and contacts.

SHOUT! Skipton business network will then take place fortnightly, supporting local businesses to network in a relaxed but business focussed environment with no pressure.

Richard Singleton, organiser of the SHOUT! Skipton group, is delighted to welcome and team up with local businesses and its group’s host, The Coniston Hotel Country Estate and Spa.

Richard explained “We’ve recognised the Skipton business network and surrounding towns and villages as an active business and economic development area. It is an area that we are delighted to support businesses to engage with each other and demonstrate why businesses from other areas should invest in local services.”

“We’re delighted to have teamed up with Sharon Blake, Business Development Manager at The Coniston Hotel Country Estate and Spa, who will provide a stunning venue to do business in”.

Benefiting from Business Networking

Established in 2008, the SHOUT! Network is a family owned, independent business network that now welcomes over 300 attendees in a week.

The SHOUT! Network has developed a huge following in the North West with local group meetings across Lancashire, more recently Greater Manchester and now West Yorkshire.

Richard explained “Business networking is a proven method to develop sales and business partnerships. Despite us living in a digital world of online communication, through social sites such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, face to face business networking has continued to grow and will only get bigger”.

“At SHOUT! we believe achieving business sales or new opportunities should come naturally through developing trusted business relationships”.

“That’s why there’s no pressure at our groups and feedback from our members shows this is a proven way to make business networking work”.

SHOUT! Network member Lindsey Robinson at Alert Fire & Security agrees saying, “In my role as Account and Marketing Manager at Alert, I look after our corporate accounts and promotion of the Alert brand; I’m not a sales person!”

“We joined SHOUT! initially to increase our brand awareness, but I quite quickly found myself passing qualified leads to my Sales team”.

“They were not only coming from the Burnley group that I attend, but from other groups in other areas. That’s because the SHOUT! head office team support you and can get the whole network aware of its trusted and reliable members”.

“There’s no pressure and SHOUT! do all the work to bring new guests to every meeting”.

Sharon Blake, Business Development Manager at The Coniston Hotel Country Estate and Spa said

“To have a proven and successful business network group meeting at The Coniston is great for us to be able to support our local business community.

“We are looking forward to welcoming businesses to the Huntsman’s Lodge and see the facilities we can provide for corporate training and experience days”.
